American Legion Fort Myers Post 38

Est. September 5, 1919 (Oldest Post in Southwest Florida), Post 38 has a total Veteran membership of 330+ which includes the Auxiliary and Sons of Legion. All these groups meet at the post.The Legion sponsors John Ebling Veteran Art Gallery (1st art gallery in an American Legion Post), River District Alliance, and Boys State & Girls State (programs that teach students about the U.S. Government)The Post also helps house homeless Veterans, provides furniture, clothing and they also have a food pantry where they can pick up bread and pastries 5 days a week. Commander Kevin Boyd, along with the entire staff, extends you a warm welcome with an invite to visit the Legion and enjoy all the features and events in a friendly and patriotic atmosphere.
