AMVets Anchorage Post 2

Total membership is over 900 Veterans, which includes the Ladies Auxiliary and Sons of Veterans groups. Post 2 has a banquet hall that can be rented, the capacity is 185. This popular community organization features Sunday brunch, steak night Thursday, fish fry, burgers/sandwiches Friday, and tacos. Post Commander Rod Mattoon extends a warm welcome to you and invites you to enjoy their friendly atmosphere.

We have brunch every Sunday from 11am -1pm, Steak night once a month on a Thursday night from 6pm - 8pm, and Friday nights rotate between Son's Burgers and Sandwiches & Auxiliary Taco Night for only $1 ea. Hard or Soft shell. The first Taco Night of every month the ladies also offer Smothered Burritos. $3 for a small, $5 for a large. Hours for both Burger and Taco Nights are 6pm - 9pm.
