Also know as the Capital City VFW, Post 8787 has 900+ Members, including the Auxiliary, VFW Motorcycle Group 5, and Blue Star Mothers of America. They also Host: Boy Scout / Girl Scout Troops, Future Farmers, 4HCorvette Club Bull Dog Society all these groups meet here for a variety of outings and events. The VFW sponsors Voice of Democracy, Patriot's Pen (Youth Essay Writing Contest), and Teacher / EMT / Police Officer & Firefighter of the Year Awards. Commander Steve Lingabauch and the entire staff extends a warm welcome to you and invites you to enjoy the atmosphere and the events on all patriotic holidays.
